Privacy policy.

What we collect when you visit our website or work with us, why we collect it, and the choices you have. Written in plain English, because a privacy policy should be easy to read.

Last updated: 28 September 2026Applies to: dyotatech.ai and our services

The short version

  • We collect what you give us, like your name and contact details when you fill in our form, plus basic information about how our website is used.
  • We use it to reply to you, deliver our services, run our business and, only if you agree, to measure and improve our website and ads.
  • We never sell your personal data.
  • Analytics and advertising cookies stay off until you say yes, and you can change your mind at any time.
  • You can ask to see, correct or delete your data by emailing info@dyotatech.ai.

01Who we are

This website is run by Dyota Digi Tech Private Limited, which trades as Dyotatech AI (“we”, “us”, “our”). We are a digital marketing and AI visibility company based in Hyderabad, Telangana, India, working with businesses in India, the UK and the US.

For the personal data described in this policy, we are the data fiduciary under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and the controller under the UK GDPR. In plain terms, we decide how and why it is used, and we are responsible for looking after it.

02What we collect

Information you give us

  • When you contact us or book a free call: your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, business name, website, country, the services you’re interested in, and anything you choose to tell us in your message.
  • When you email, call or message us: your contact details and the content of the conversation.
  • When you become a client: billing and tax details (such as your company name, address and GST number), the names and contact details of the people we work with, and access to accounts you choose to share with us, such as your website, Google Business Profile or ad accounts.

Information collected automatically

  • Technical information: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit, how you arrived at our site and the date and time of your visit. Our hosting provider records some of this for security.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: essential cookies always, and analytics and advertising cookies only if you allow them. See Cookies and tracking.

Information from other sources

  • Public business information: when you ask us for a free review, we look at what is publicly available about your business online, such as your website, Google Business Profile, reviews and social profiles.
  • Ad and analytics platforms: summary reports about how our own website and ads perform, for example how many people clicked an ad.

We don’t ask for sensitive information, such as health details, and we ask you not to include it in your message.

03How we use it and why

04Cookies and tracking

We use a small number of essential cookies to make our website work, for example to remember your cookie choices. With your permission, we also use analytics tools (Google Analytics) and advertising tools (such as Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok and Snapchat) to understand how our website is used and to measure and improve our ads.

Wherever you are, analytics and advertising cookies stay off until you agree. Our Cookie policy lists every cookie we use and explains how to change your choices.

05Who we share it with

We never sell your personal data. We only share it where we need to, with:

  • Service providers who help us run our business: website hosting, email and office software, forms, scheduling and customer management tools, and accounting software. They may only use your data to provide their service to us.
  • Analytics and advertising platforms: Google, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok and Snap, only if you’ve allowed the relevant cookies. When they receive data this way, they also use it under their own privacy policies.
  • Professional advisers: such as our accountants, auditors and lawyers.
  • Authorities: where the law requires it, or to protect the rights, property or safety of our clients, our team, the public or us.
  • A new owner: if our business is ever sold or merged, in which case this policy will continue to protect your data.

06Where your data goes

We are based in India, so if you contact us from the UK, the US or elsewhere, your data will be handled in India. Some of our service providers store data in other countries, such as the US or countries in Europe.

When your data moves between countries, we take steps to protect it: we choose established providers and, where the law requires it, use contracts that protect your data, such as the UK’s International Data Transfer Addendum or standard contractual clauses. We don’t send personal data to any country the Government of India has restricted.

07How long we keep it

We keep personal data only for as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected, then delete it or make it anonymous.

If you withdraw your consent, we stop using your data for that purpose and delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it.

08Keeping it safe

We use sensible safeguards to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access limited to the people who need it, strong passwords and two-step verification on our accounts, and regular updates to our website and software.

No website or online service can be completely secure. If a breach affects your personal data, we will tell you and the relevant authorities as the law requires, and explain what happened and what we’re doing about it.

09Your rights

You can ask us to do any of the following by emailing info@dyotatech.ai. It’s free, and we may ask you to confirm your identity first.

  • See your data: ask what personal data we hold about you, how we use it and who we’ve shared it with.
  • Correct or update it: if anything is wrong or incomplete.
  • Delete it: unless we need to keep it by law.
  • Withdraw your consent: at any time, as easily as you gave it. For cookies, use Cookie settings at the bottom of any page. This doesn’t affect anything we did before you withdrew it.
  • Object or restrict (UK): ask us to stop or limit how we use your data, including for direct marketing, and ask for a copy of your data in a format you can reuse.
  • Nominate someone (India): name a person who can use these rights for you if you die or become unable to.
  • US visitors: depending on the state you live in, you may have similar rights. We’ll honour these requests wherever you live.

We’ll reply within 30 days. If a request is complicated, we’ll tell you if we need longer and why.

10Data we handle for clients

When we manage a client’s website, Google Business Profile, reviews, social media or ads, we may handle personal data about that client’s own customers, such as enquiries from their website or reviews on their profile. In that work we act on our client’s instructions, as their data processor, and their own privacy policy explains how that data is used.

If you’re a client, we’re happy to sign a data processing agreement that sets out how we look after this data.

11Children

Our website and services are for businesses and are not meant for anyone under 18. We don’t knowingly collect personal data from children. If you think a child has sent us their details, contact us and we’ll delete them.

12Changes to this policy

We’ll update this policy when the law or the way we work changes. The date at the top shows when it was last updated. If we make an important change, we’ll show a notice on our website or tell you directly.
